Did you have to face this situation? आज हम सब हमारे महिला एनजीओ की 5वीं वर्षगांठ के जश्न के एक विशेष अवसर पर यहां इकट्ठे हुए हैं। इस एनजीओ से जुड़ी और समर्थित हर महिला की ओर से मैं यहां इस एनजीओ में शामिल हर व्यक्ति को धन्यवाद करने के लिए एक प्रस्ताव के साथ यहाँ आपके सामने पेश हूं। एक गैर सरकारी संगठन का उद्घाटन करना आसान काम नहीं है और यह हमारे एनजीओ की सहायता और समर्थन करने वाले सभी लोगों के साथ के बिना संभव नहीं है। हम सभी जानते हैं कि अभी भी भारत में ऐसी कई जगह हैं जहां महिलाओं का शोषण और पितृसत्तात्मक समाज का वर्चस्व है। इन समाजों में महिलाओं को अपने माता-पिता, पति, परिवार और समाज के अनुसार अपना जीवन जीना पड़ता है। उनके पास उनके परिवार और समाज के खिलाफ कुछ करने का अधिकार नहीं है। वे शारीरिक रूप और मानसिक रूप से हिंसा का शिकार होती हैं। हमारे देश के कई राज्यों में लिंग अनुपात प्रतिकूल है। आज भी कन्या भ्रूण हत्या और महिला हत्या के कई मामले हैं। ये उन समाजों के लिए शर्म की बात है जहां इनका अभ्यास किया जाता है। हर इंसान अपनी मां के बलिदानों से ही इस दुनिया में आया है और उनकी माँ भी महिलाएं हैं। एक औरत एक मां, बहन, बेटी और ना जाने क्या-क्या होती है। वह अपने परिवार को प्रसन्न करने के लिए खुद की ख़ुशी का बलिदान करती है। एक महिला को केवल समाज से सम्मान की जरूरत है। घरेलू हिंसा के ऐसे कई मामले देखने को मिलते हैं जो कि बहुत शर्मनाक अपराध है। हम यह सोच भी नहीं सकते हैं कि इस दुनिया में घरेलू हिंसा से पीड़ित अभी भी कितनी महिलाएं मौजूद हैं। कई जगहों पर उन्हें अपने पति और परिवार के सदस्यों द्वारा दहेज के लिए पीड़ित किया जाता है। लोग उनकी ड्रेसिंग सेंस और जीवनशैली के आधार पर उनका वर्गीकरण करते हैं। यहां पर कई महिलाओं को उनकी इच्छा के अनुसार कपड़े पहनने की स्वतंत्रता नहीं है। मैं धन्यवाद उन महिलाओं को भी करना चाहूँगा जो अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार अपना जीवन जी रही हैं। मैं दुनिया भर में सभी माता-पिता का शुक्रिया अदा करना चाहूंगा जो अपनी बेटियों का समर्थन करते हैं और उन्हें अपने पुत्रों के समान मान-सम्मान और इज्ज़त देते हैं। जो माता-पिता अपनी बेटियों और बेटों को बराबर मानते हैं वे जानते हैं कि बेटे-बेटी के बीच कोई वास्तविक अंतर नहीं है और वे दोनों समान प्रेम के हक़दार हैं। मैं पूरी दुनिया के सभी लोगों को भी धन्यवाद देना चाहूंगा जो महिलाओं के कल्याण के लिए काम कर रहे हैं और साथ ही साथ उन लोगों का भी जो महिलाओं का समर्थन कर रहे हैं। महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए हमें लोगों के अधिक से अधिक समर्थन की आवश्यकता है। मैं उन सभी महिलाओं को धन्यवाद करना चाहूँगा जिन्होंने अपने अधिकारों और स्वतंत्रता के लिए लड़ने का साहस दिखाया। उनकी जूझने की भावना के बिना हमारे एनजीओ को सफल बनाना संभव नहीं था। हम उन सभी महिलाओं को स्वतंत्रता प्रदान करने का प्रयास करेंगे जो अभी भी पीड़ित हैं। इसी के साथ मैं अपना भाषण समाप्त करना चाहता हूं और मुझे आशा है कि यह दिन हमारी आत्मा में महिलाओं के अधिकारों के लिए लड़ने के लिए एक नया जोश जगायेगा। धन्यवाद!
